LANCELIN
LODGE YHA is a purpose-built budget travellers Lodge in Lancelin, situated
only 300m from the windsurfing, kitesurfing and
surf beaches.
Owned and operated by Trish and Trev, the Lodge
was built in 1996 and voted the best YHA hostel in Western Australia in
2001, 2009 and 2011 (guest satisfaction rating of 93% in 2011).
It is rated 4 for budget accommodation. The lodge is
clean, friendly and has a home away from home atmosphere.
Several room options
are available with most rooms opening onto a veranda and a garden
courtyard. Sheets, pillows and quilts are supplied. Cooling fans and
heaters are provided.
Lush gardens and
lawns create a tranquil surrounding and make the hammocks an ideal place
for just laying back and relaxing with a book. You are sure to enjoy your
stay. A function room is available for hire.
A 15 metre swimming
pool and the beach volleyball court provide both, fun and fitness for
guests.
Lodge facilities are shared. The large commercial kitchen has
everything supplied for your needs – i.e. pots, pans, plates, cups,
toasters, microwave, fridges and freezer etc. Guests have plenty of storage
in the kitchen for dry and refrigerated foods. There is also a barbeque and
pizza oven (check with management before use - needs skilled operator)
A large dining area is designed to capture the winter sun. TV,
DVDs, books, and games are available plus an open fire for winter. A table
tennis table is under a covered courtyard. Wireless Internet access (fee
applies).
There are ample
showers and toilets, with the ladies and men’s block having 4 showers each.
A separate shower/toilet facility for the disabled is provided and also a
coin operated guest laundry
